GHRA (Greater Houston Restaurant Association) As a local chapter of the Texas Restaurant Association, The
Greater Houston Restaurant Association strives to
promote growth of the restaurant industry by
providing educational programs, public awareness
campaigns, and grass-roots government affairs
initiatives. Our association is just over 1,000
members strong, making it one of the largest trade
associations in Houston.

TRA (Texas Restaurant
Association)
Recognizing the benefits of working together to promote the
restaurant industry in Texas, 11 leading Texas
restaurateurs held an organizational meeting in
Dallas in September 1937. Temporary officers were
elected and the Texas Restaurant Association was
born. For more than 65 years, the TRA has served
its members and the foodservice industry with
political advocacy, industry education and
foodservice training. The association maintains its
focus on supporting the business of the Texas
restaurateur. This commitment results in the
continued growth and effectiveness of the
association.

(Professionals In Culinary Arts)
The PCA is an educational mentoring, and networking
organization. We are open to owners, operators,
directors, culinary professionals, suppliers, and
service professionals who are committed to a
dynamic, educational, and interactive relationship
